Letter from the Director

The following is a message from our Executive and Artistic Director, Kathy Judd:

Dear Washington Conservatory Community,

Since March 2020, when all of our lives were impacted by the pandemic, we have been grateful our musical connections were able to continue, thanks to the option of online teaching and learning.

Many students and faculty have been enthusiastic about unexpected advantages to online learning.  Others prefer the traditional in-person lessons, group classes, and ensembles.

The Conservatory continues to offer both online and in-person private lessons and classes.  For private lessons, simply call our office 301-320-2770 to request either in person or online.  (In person lessons can also be occasionally online.)  For classes, please check our classes website to see the details of each class.

Whether in person or online, we are dedicated to continuing to open the door to the many joys of music and to provide personalized high-quality music education for all ages.  We welcome everyone from budding beginners to advanced musicians.

Wishing you a safe and musical year,

Kathy Judd
