Washington Conservatory of Music, in cooperation with Washington Performing Arts, presents a Master Class with American classical pianist Emanuel Ax and three select students at Westmoreland Circle. Admission is free. Families with children are encouraged to attend.

Time: Tuesday, May 5, 6:00 pm
Location: Washington Conservatory of Music at Westmoreland Congregational United Church of Christ
Address: One Westmoreland Circle, Bethesda, MD
Parking: Parking is available in the lot on Massachusetts Avenue and along the streets of Massachusetts and Western Avenues. Please do not block neighborhood driveways.
Admission: Free.

Beloved by audiences, American pianist Emanuel Ax has been a fixture of the piano world since his 1974 win at the first Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Listen in as he coaches Washington Conservatory piano students in a variety of works in this free master class.

Emanuel Ax will perform an all-Beethoven solo recital presented by Washington Performing Arts on Wed., May 6, 2020 at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore showcasing his “thoughtful, lyrical, lustrous” playing (Washington Post). Click for recital information.
