Washington Conservatory of Music: Location and Directions

The Washington Conservatory of Music teaches lessons and classes at two convenient locations: in Bethesda on Westmoreland Circle and in Washington, DC on Tenley Circle (addresses below).

The main office of the Conservatory is located at One Westmoreland Circle in the Westmoreland Congregational United Church of Christ, Bethesda, Maryland 20816. Individual lessons, classes and ensembles are offered at this location. Phone: 301-320-2770.
Westmoreland Circle is located where Western Ave. ends at Massachusetts Ave., on the Maryland-District of Columbia border.
The Conservatory entrance is at the end of the church driveway on Massachusetts Ave.

Driving to Bethesda site:
From Virginia: from 495N, exit at River Rd. to DC; right on Goldsboro; left on Massachusetts Ave. for two miles to Westmoreland Circle.
From Baltimore: take 95S to 495W; exit at River Rd. to DC; right on Goldsboro; left on Massachusetts Ave. for two miles to Westmoreland Circle.

Metro/Bus:
Red Line to Friendship Heights metro stop. Metro buses and Ride On Montgomery County Transit buses regularly run from the metro stop to Westmoreland Circle.

Tenley Circle is located where Nebraska Ave. intersects Wisconsin Ave.
The Conservatory entrance is the main church entrance on Alton Place.
A student drop-off zone is on Alton Pl. directly in front of the Conservatory entrance.

Driving to DC site:
From Virginia: From 495N, exit at River Road to DC; right off of Wisconsin Ave. at Tenley Circle to Nebraska Ave. East; right onto Alton Pl.
From Baltimore: 95 South to 495W; exit at Wisconsin Ave. to DC; right off of Wisconsin Ave. at Tenley Circle to Nebraska Ave. East; right onto Alton Pl.

Metro/Bus:
Red Line to Tenleytown/AU metro stop. Walk approximately 1 block south on Wisconsin Ave. to Nebraska Ave. Church is across the street on your left.
