Washington Conservatory faculty member, Canadian pianist Audrey Andrist, hailed as a "stunning pianist with incredible dexterity" (San Francisco Classical Voice), has thrilled audiences around the globe, from North America to Japan, China and Germany with her "passionate abandon", "bright energy", and "great intelligence." Andrist will present a program of music spanning centuries and genres beginning with music by CPE Bach, to the Davidsbundler Dances by Schumann and a group of engaging transcriptions including music from musical theater and Jerome Kern’s left-hand-alone transcription of “All the Things You Are.”
Audience members are invited to a post-concert Wine & Words in the church social hall – a fun and informal question and answer session with the musicians, with complimentary beverages.
